This group exhibition was devoted to the anthropology and politics of food. The project examined the social dimension of food, global supply chains and world trade, the global organization of labor, and the structure of large organizational systems. According to the curatorial concept, choosing what to eat for dinner becomes a choice in favor of one system of food production and supply or another, making the choice not merely domestic, but ethical.
"Flies are specialc creatures, spirits that connect important processes of this world. Grinding specific substances with their tiny legs and travelling between food, excrement, and corpses, they close the cycle of life."
"The exhibition is devoted to the anthropology and politics of food. As the organizers explain, the idea behind works is to see the social dimension within food itself."
